What does vampire facial do?

A vampire facial is also known as a Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedure. Vampire facial is a treatment that involves micro-needling followed by the application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on your skin. A small amount of blood is collected from your body and centrifuged for eight to ten minutes to separate Platelet Rich Plasma from blood impurities.

Do vampire facials hurt?

A numbing cream is applied to the face 20 minutes prior to the treatment and some patients do experience mild pain– particularly around sensitive areas like the hairline, mouth, and around the eyes.

How many treatments needed?

Most patients will see the best results after 3 treatments, a month apart; although one treatment can be adequate for some patients.

Downtime and Results

The downtime required after this treatment is minimal. Some patients may experience skin redness or sensitivity after the treatment, which may resolve in few hours. We provide a post-procedure treatment kit to patients for at-home care.

You should start to see results within a week. After 1 or 2 months, you should see rejuvenated skin that appears younger and feels softer.

Platelets are known to contain a significant amount of growth factor. The growth factors boost collagen, elastin production, promote tissue regeneration and increase the skin’s hydration levels. They also infuse your skin with antioxidants. This procedure also improves the absorbing power of your skin – which means your skin can absorb other skincare products better.

Vampire Facial renews skin cells which help with skin complexion, wrinkles, and fine lines, melasma, acne, acne scarring, stretch marks, and reduce the size of the skin pores. A vampire facial helps tighten, smooth, and improve skin tone.
